klipsch promedia 2.1 no preamp control pod

i got a klipsch promedia 2.1 sub with built in amp given to me with no preamp control pod or satellites is there a way to get it to turn on with out it i just want the sub and amp to work i found the schematics for it here http://www.thompdale.com/bash_amplif...1_bash_amp.htm i don't really understand the control pod schematic very well the main ic is on ebay for like 3.00
