can anyone recommend a method to get rid of moisture in new vga chips.i replaced a chip on a dell xps today and it popcorned when the temp got up to solder melt point.
i am aware that baking in a oven will do the job but i dont know how long or at what temp.also is there a oven i could purchase that is made specifically for this job or is it just a case of using the preheat on a reflow machine thanks. |
