Jamicon capacitors any good?

Are these Jamicon caps OK! Do they have a decent reputation? I ordered some 6800uf, 63volt,105c caps from WES components and this is what they sent me,I'm going to put them into a Sherwood RD6405 surround sound 5.1 amplifier 125wpc.What do you think?

Fine for general purpose uses. Audiophiles may have a fit though.

Actually I was putting feelers out for people who have used them more than anything. I have read the data sheet but it doesn't say what they sound like? As for audiophiles,they can have a fit because a lot of the time they don't know what they are talking about because they are preyed upon by unscrupulous manufactures and dealers of pseudoscience,which they take to be fact. Anyway that's my take on it,coming from nearly 50 years of building and repairing Amplifiers and general consumer electronics.

I seem to have some faith in Jamicon units.
With the units from WES, I cross-referenced Jamicon WL (3000H) with Chemi-Con LXV, Jamicon TK (2000H) with Chemi-Con KMQ (radial), Jamicon HSW (2000H) with Chemi-Con KMH and Hitano EXR (2000H) with Chemi-Con SXE.

OK that's good enough for me Japlytic coz after all its the user of these products that has the last say in the matter and the most important,I'm sure if there was just a hint of badness about them I would have heard by now.Cheers.

They don't take heat too well... Ive seen quite a few roasted in bestec PSUs (granted, other desing faults were involved).

I fished quite a few bad ones out of DJ CD-players (those rackmount double deck ones) with linear PSUs.

Four Jamicon 25V 2200µF IIRC. Issues were that the player had a mind on its own.. Like randomly stopping playback (or not finding tracks), pitch control going bonkers or not "starting up" properly (turned on with a blank LCD and didn't respond).

Those caps had basically no capacitance left. And the player wasn't exactly hot-running.

What was the temp spec on the failed Jamicons, 85c or 105c or both?

They were 85°C general purpose caps (as you'd expect in a linear power supply)

edit: No idea what series they were. Been too long..
