Well if the spammer in question isn't registered on it, it doesn't work.
There was a time when I was doing an overdue clean-out on some suspicious accounts and it flagged up quite a large chunk, the most recent still seem to slip through.

It hasnt been infiltrated yet. This is the spammer that posted today, look at his join date:

The new trap was implemented on the 22nd. Cant blame the trap for this one. It is working so far, not getting all those strange weird registrations anymore. ...and one last thing, is there a 'perfect system' anywhere?

There is no perfect system, which is why I said Stop Forum Spam isn't the end of spam, just another help.
