I just scored a Shuttle XPC S093G, with about 13 blown caps. It is a Core 2 Duo. I sure hope it works after the recap.

Ok, so I had ordered 13 new 6.3V 1800ufs for my shuttle from the local electronics supply shop here in town. Well he called me and said that they are discontinued and can't get them. So now I guess I have to try to go up in ufs, how big should I go?

If you're in the USA, you can get Nichicon HZ series 8x20mm from digikey for 89 cents each. Shipping should run you around $2.75 if you select USPS First Class Mail.

keep it off and unplugged. more you have it on with bad caps, the more chance of damaging something before you recap it
