I have a n Acer 1912 monitor with half a screen of lines

That looks more like it might have something to do with the T-con board. Other members might has a different view though.
Is it bright because you used the flash on your camera or is that how the monitor is? |

Try cleaning and reseating the cable that goes beween the panel and the main board.
May be a flat ribbon type. |

I cleaning and reseated the cable & the picture cleared up
while turned on its side ,but when I assembled it the lines returned The picture is bright because of the flash What is the T con Board? |

The TCon is the board on the panel where the cable you have just cleaned connects to. As it did work briefly may be worth trying again - did you reseat both ends.
If not, we can help a lot more if you please post good clear pictures of the whole chassis, and then pictures of each board, front and back and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply. Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages. Problem solved I cleaned and reset the cable both ends ,and its working now
