There is no any magic solution out there.

I am looking for one too.
I need the hot iron to be at 60 watts.
About the hot air I have one lets say question.
It looks to be 250W & 500W units with dedicated pump.
And both looks to have the same output in Celsius.

The difference in Watts haves to do with the time that you have to wait so to become hot ?

The model that I am very close to get is the AOYUE 908.

Wouldn't recommend any Aoyue equipment - have a 968 - too many problems...

I have a 952+ hot air station, a 474a desoldering station ,a 936A soldering station, an 853 preheater and an 883 preheater.( I guess I am a fan of this brand )
I have never, ever had a problem with any of them, but as I said I understand their limitations.. I am an hobbyist (or maybe semi-professional ? ) and so my use isn't very hard on them..

The best, price-is-no-object, hand soldering station is Metcal.

Weller's WTCPT is really good. Hakko 936 is really good.

Yes, I am spoiled.
