    intel and capxon

    not sure how this happened... but i ordered an intel board assuming that it was gonna be all fun caps... the model is BOXDQ67SWB3. it was pretty pricey too,$100+.

    since when did intel start using capxon? luckily i htink it's only for the I/O circuits, but isn't capxon still bad?

      Whenever you buy any board, check out the macro zoom shots on Newegg first to look at the caps:

      In your case, some suspect caps (Series "LZ") are clearly visible in the pics... The other lytics are Sanyo and Panasonic... Not too many too replace... But still, re-capping a brand new $125 board. I agree, inexcusable.
