Fake nichicon PJ series?

I bought these caps (20pcs) a few weeks ago from eBay for just $2.
The seller said they are good quality, but I don't think that I have genuine capacitors for this price....

Can someone tell my the date of the manufacturing, and if these capacitors are fake?

When I take a look at the bungs, I realized that they have 2 sorts of bungs.
The most are flat, but some have a circle on it.

Youre from Holland, you can buy genuine Panasonic FC & FR low-esr caps on the Conrad website. They are cheaper there than Farnell or Mouser.

Panasonic FC 2200uF 16v (Ø x h) 12.5 mm x 25 mm (Low ESR)
Panasonic FR 2200uF 16v (Ø x h) 12.5 mm x 20 mm (Lower ESR than FC, longer life)

fake in size alone.look like 10x16mm.
no 2200@16 by ANY mfr in that size.

I just bought from eBay because the price, but later when I take a look at this forum (and bought a capacitance meter) I see that I can better buy genuine caps.
Maybe I can use this capacitors in cheap ass power supplies, just to replace the worser capacitors.

I also bought (in the past) some fake Sanyo's, the sleeve said 4700uF but they are just 3300uF.


I installed this capacitor in a PSU, and it works for just a few minutes.
The second time I turned it on there come a big bang, and the PSU was dead... Luckily the motherboard was good.
And I never going to buy fake caps from eBay anymore.

That fake "Sanyo" is a Teapo. Strange that it blew up the PSU - I bet they lied about the series as well.

As far as I know, Nichicon PJ Series have a brown sleeve.

Thats true, the datasheet says 'Printed with white color letter on dark brown sleeve'
