Suspected badcap: KZG, bulging at base

I removed this cap from an MSI K8T Neo-2 tonight in a fit of insomnia. I have zero experience with blown capacitors, so I'd appreciate any help in confirming that this little guy was in fact the culprit!

I've attempted to line the plastic retainer with the line of an index card. I can retake the picture against a blank card if necessary.

Thanks to anyone who can offer me advice!

I've been trying all morning to post a picture of a drunken row of caps that looks just like that, topcat!

edit: Just for the spiders, the board was an MSI K8T Neo 2 MS-6702E Ver: 1 with clock failure, video failure, and power-on troubles.

From what I've read, I think the caps are too sensitive to heat to be so close to the CPU.

      Thanks again, TopCat!
