Strangely low price of some famous cap on some chinese forum

I found Nichicon(6.3V1500U), sanyo(6.3V2200U) cap selling at less than 1 RMB each (1/8 USD) in some chinese forums. (e.g. http://www.jd-bbs.com/viewthread.php...extra=page%3D6, http://www.hkepc.com/bbs/viewthread....&extra=&page=6)

Do anyone know if they are fake or they are 2nd hand or they are really that cheap? Thanks.

They can be real and still inexpensive - companies often liquidate surplus and NOS caps at low prices, which are then re-sold by surplus dealers. Moreover, General-Purpose, 85c caps are widely available and not expensive. You should physically inspect the merchandise to be sure that they're authentic and the series that you want.

The photos posted of some Elna and Rifa caps appear to be of authentic material, but the material shipped must be the same as the material shown in the pictures. There's ample scope for fraud in online purchases.

O.K., let me add more explain for these very low cost caps.

It is because all these caps are come out from the hardware factories stocks, the caps will clearance when the hardware produce line was stopped. By this reason, some of caps reseller(always in China, because Chian is the world factory now) will collect these caps from some hardwares factories with very low cost. It meant nobody knows the real sourcing, or it is real or fake.

Of course there is nobody will know when the caps are produced from the caps factories? Where to keep the caps?

So, i always suggest enduser to buy the caps from a realiable sourcing, don't consider the pricing only.

help SG2701B01-7 panel chinese, would this integrated circuit be equivalent? Chinese IC CS601C regulator.
        by valente222
Hi, I'm repairing this Chinese SG2701B01-7 panel. There isn't much information about it. The original part for the panel is a CSOT CS601C regulator. I can't find anything commercial on Aliexpress; there's only the CS601 without the final 'C'. They claim it's a variant. But will it be compatible? Well, my diagnosis on this screen is a video problem; the image is practically black, although there is HDMI communication. The LED light is on (backlight), but there is no VGL, no 3.3V, and no VSS. It seems that this IC is the one controlling these voltages. The monitor worked correctly for a moment and...

CDS‑200B ultrasonic cleaner - (other generic Chinese cleaners are somewhat similar)
        by itsthatidiotagain
CDS‑200B ultrasonic cleaner - AKA James Ultra 7050 etc.

There are many versions of cheap Chinese ultrasonic cleaners, and a fair few share this design, with a removable tank with handle. There are also fixed tank versions which look to use the same basic layout and presumably the same PCBs.

I picked one up "spares or repair" on ebay, and the cleaner was dead, but the fuse wasn't blown.

A quick diode check revealed D7 was shorted. D7 is a 12V 1/2 Watt Zener. I had one in my stash, so this was about as close to a "five minute repair" as...

Anyone else been having problems with chinese laptops using ESSX8336 / ES8336 audio?
        by NanoTesting
This audio chipset has been a pain to deal with, most of the time its impossible to find drivers for chinese laptops that have no name/brand, or generic rebranded laptops.
Huawei also started to use it BUT they no longer host drivers on their website since they want you to force their PC manager app that often refuses to install after bios flashing and apparently the generic drivers around wont work on some intel systems and others wont work on amd systems, the generic ones have worked only once and i think i have had this problem on 30+ laptops so far in the last year.

Car Headunit (Chinese?) No Sound / Audio
        by Bloopeta
Just bought a car that has a stereo in, thats bluetooth etc, and powers on fine and all functions seem to work, BUT there is no audio/sound.
I have tried another unit in the car that works fine, so know it definitely a problem with this unit.

I know it just cheap rubbish, probably of chinese origin, but its really bugging me just throwing it away and replacing it 🙈🤣

I know zero about things like this, ans its probably unfixable, or more trouble than its worth, but just wondered if there was anything to check, as what could lead to an easy-ish fix? Havnt opened...
