Hi guys 3 month past since release of 16.04,has anybody seen over all improvement of bugs wise in 16.04,i tried a clean install 3 months ago and it was disappointing,it was the worse release of Ubuntu ever,i'm running presently Ubuntu 14.04 which is running great, have the issues with ati drivers been resolved,or everything still a mess, crappy distro?

Ive only had it running the server version and in a chroot. It is stable in non-GUI userspace, but the rest i can't comment on.Things I've fixed: anything from semis to crappy Chinese $2 radios, and now an IoT Dildo....

I've got it on one of my HTPCs (a Dell OptiPlex 960 SFF with a few upgrades), but it has NVidia graphics (GeForce 710), and doesn't get used for much more than media playback and web browsing (mainly for music/videos). Haven't really had any issues, but given its use haven't really "tested" it either.Comment

Hi guys; Today i decided to give Ubuntu 16.04 one more try on my Desktop ThinkCenter71 Intel (core)tm) I5 2400 CPU 3.10GHZ,
Mem 3.8GB,Socket 1155, Video card ATI 6450, since i had it installed on an Extra HDD and all i did was to update,so far it's doing great for now special on what i use it most ,streaming video.Last edited by ivtec; 08-25-2016, 10:30 AM.Comment
