I have a cheap action camera with an annoying trait, every time I change batteries the date & time gets reset and I have to set it again.

I've had trouble with the power on this device since I got it. It always shut down with no warning and would often fail to power up. Dell's advice has been to disconnect the power and battery, wait, then reconnect and boot. Letting the battery run down completely also helped. Hello, I have a Dell Alienware M15 R7 INTEL LA-L651P which does not detect the dGPU which is a 3060M, I tried reprogramming both BIOS, without success, the dGPU has all the voltages, I do not know how to make it turn on properly with an external power supply, since outside the case, it only turns on for a second and turns off.

the used graphic card is "intel hd graphics" and the id of the integrated screen is : "monitor/SEC3354".
i verified the driver of the péripherals and they are ok. i verified the definition and settings of the graphic card and of the screen : definition 1600x900 and refreshment frequency :60hz. (they are the sames for the graphic card and the screen).

Hi this vestel 65in tv had classic no backlights ,so nothing new there!
tested with b/l tester and the b/l seemed to be fine
so investigated psu 17ips72 (on this 65inch there are 3 fets and control iv type DB83630P)
did a thorough check on b/l circuit all ok .
When i tried again with b/l tester all ok .but then when i reinstalled psu all worked fine ,
could there be a component on psu that is causing the protection mode to stop b/l
.maybee causing it to be too sensitive?
it seems to me if the b/l have been on with my tester ,within a couple of minutes...

Anyway. I got this job over facebook market place. Customer said he bought it used and it was working fine, then he decided to upgrade firmware and somewhere along the way the battery died or whatever we don't know, it got bricked. That's his story and he's sticking with it.

For now I don't have schematics, my mainboard is far not similar to others I found here, all mosfet are 7658A part one RA10.
Each coils have 2 or 3 mosfets, so I removed coils, still shorted on GPU side 0.2ohms.

First time trying to fix a TV for a friend, it's a Bush DLED32165HD.
Power Board - 17IPS11
Mainboard - 17MBS82S
Panel - VES315WNDB-02

Red blinking standby light is on steady, press power button on remote and light flashes 7 times then stays steady, press power on remote again light flashes 10 times and then goes off.
Checked all the voltages on the power board inc backlight circuit, they all read ok and are stable. Backlights tested with backlight tester and all work fine (2 strips x11LED on each).
No picture, backlight or sound just blinking...

I have recently inherited a Panasonic DMR-EZ48V DVD/VHS combo after my dad died. I tried to record a DVD with it and it worked for about 5 mins before it suddenly stopped. I have a Hoover FM216LI cordless vacuum which isn't charging its internal battery.

I opened up the unit, and it has 6x Samsung ICR18650-22P cells connected in series.
5 cells were at about 3.3-3.1V. one was at 2.4V, so I assumed this cell was bad that's why the vacuum wasn't charging so I replaced it with another 18650, but after that the problem still persists, the vacuum turns on a bit and then cuts out since the batteries are empty.

So I think the over discharged battery wasn't the culprit, it was a symptom of the unit not being able to charge its batteries....

We have 3 and 5ALWS but we don't have the enablers from other sources, which come through PM_SLP_S4#, PM_SLP_S3# and so on.

From what I saw, it comes from the PCH next to the processor, but we have 0v where we should have 3.3v.

We have 3.3v in EC_RST# correctly.

BIOS already rewritten!

Could a reballing solve it?

Or just changing the processor?

Since the next step comes from the PCH, and we have the other signals before, I believe it is the PCH itself.

This board has a blown inductor component above the driver chip to the CPU coil, and I am wondering whether the CPU is shorted/dead.

Could anyone please measure the resistance to ground on the leftmost coil/inductor to the CPU?
My resistance value is 2.2 Ohms, which doesn't look good to me.

I have a laptop that does not charge, but will turn on, so I believe this is in the charging circuit. I see not heat under thermal camera so no obvious shorts that are easily detectable from that. I am not too familiar with schematics and how to read them.

I know it is taking 20v in at the barrel jack connector, but since I am not familiar with this motherboard, not too sure how to follow power rails to nail down the problem.

On this Vizio D65x, the volume will change on its own. I don't mean like during commercials where the volume will increase. I mean its like the (+) volume button on the remote is pressed and the actual volume dialog is displayed on the screen going up. It will do this, then the volume may start going down. It might go all the way to "0"or it might stop at a different number, then start going back up. The whole time its doing this, the volume dialog is shown on the screen.

It wont do it until it has been "ON" for 20 or 30 minutes, so it does seem to be heat related....

I was watching TV when there was a huge lighting strike nearby my house that shook the house. When that happened, the picture on the TV froze and the TV wouldn't turn off except by pulling the power cable. Now if you plug in the TV, it seems to turn on (it makes the turn on "clikcs" it always does, the red power light comes on but there is no picture, although I can see the back light around the edges. And the TV doesn't respond to the power button on the remote to turn off, and doesn't respond to the manual power button on the front...

I am trying to fix a broken plasma TV by replacing a large cap on the power board. It is a 1900uf 220v cap and I could only find one place that sells them. It was listed as through hole, so I bought it. It showed up today, but instead of through hole, it has spade connectors.


Would it be safe to get some heavy duty wire (like lamp cord wire), connect that to spade connectors, connect them to the spades on the cap, and run the other ends of the wire 2-3 inches to the holes and then through the holes and solder them in place? I actually did it already and put it together but...
