Hello everyone, i have been working with 3 different 1050 TI that i bought off eBay cheap for repair practice. all 3 now have the same issue and i can't seem to pinpoint the issue. 2 of the cards (one being the phoenix and the other being an evga ssc 1050 ti) would take forever to post, would then get my monitor backlight to come on but that was it. went to reddit to see what people thought and everyone kinda said Vram issues. so i went a replaced all 4 Vram chips and same problem. and I'm new to repair so i hadn't checked for shorts on the board. and there is a short on the top right VRM on the...

Hi everyone,

I’m dealing with a firmware issue on a Dell XPS 9315. After PopOS build in firmware update tool found and install the BIOS v1.29.1, the laptop started showing TPM errors on boot:

• Alert! TPM could not be initialized.
• Alert! TPM device is not detected.

Since then, the TPM is completely missing in BIOS and in the OS.

Here’s what I tried so far:

• Downgrade is blocked because BIOS 1.29.1 is marked as “critical.”
• Reflashing the same version does not help.
• Left the laptop without battery for a week – no effect.
• Updated to BIOS 1.31.0 – problem

Hi there,
this is my first post so bear with me

my device is no longer in warranty. I am comfortable with doing minimal operations on the device. it has no data I formatted it thinking it's a software bug at first, but no it's something else.

What I tried: running it with disabled dGPU, running it with an external screen, resetting everything, using Linux on it instead of windows, reinstalling BIOS, using a different SSD, running it without internet, keeping it plugged to a wall, using a desktop cooler on the CPU, praying to god, contacting the CEO'S office...

Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

I already saw that some revisions (like Ver. 6.0) are around, but I specifically need Ver. 6.7 if possible.

I have yamaha rx-a1040 with internal error message, when i plug ac cord.
In the service menu show No Model Info! The service manual say, if the ic78 eeprom changed or corrupt, need rewrite model name
Eeprom is renesas R1EX25512ATA00A 512kbit spi eeprom
I readed eeprom maybe possible to repair....
I need good dump, or procedure for program model name (i did it with htr2071 by shorting testpoint and set model name), but i can not find info for this avr

The problem when I received this for repair was that the display would turn white and the computer would completely freeze when in use.
When this happens, there would also be a loud noise from the speaker.
To get the computer to work normally again, you need to turn it off for about an hour.
The problem only occurs when the computer is being used for some task. Otherwise, it would take a long time for the problem to occur if it was left on.
I updated the BIOS but it did not work.
When it turned off and then on again, the Caps Lock LED gives a code of three long flashes...

I have a thing with getting broken computers going again. Success rate is not that good, so aiming to improove that.
