  • Linx 1020 windows tablet bios required

    Hello everyone,

I’m looking for a full 8MB BIOS dump (.bin) for the Linx 1020 tablet with the Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor. My device is currently not powering on, and I believe the BIOS might be corrupted. I plan to reflash it using a CH341A programmer and SOIC8 clip.

If anyone has a working Linx 1020 and could share a verified full dump from the SPI BIOS chip (usually Winbond 25Q64 or similar), I’d really appreciate it. A clean dump from a known working unit would help restore my board safely.

If the dump is from a Z8300 variant, please note it —...

  • Dell Latitude 7290 Power Cycling

    Hi,

I have a Dell Latitude 7290 that power cycles instead of turning on. The circuit board is an LA-F311P

I have systematically checked pretty much every internal voltage, and they all seem to be present except for CPU Vcc_Core, which doesn't turn on.
The impedence the Vcc_Core coils is 8.3 Ohms, though, which seems reasonable.
Vcc_SA does get enabled, and reads 1.05V. This is driven by the same power controller IC as Vcc_Core, so I am assuming that that is good.
There is no Vcc_GT, but I have read that that can be normal as it only turns on when GPU...

  • ASUS X571 no power : battery issue?

    Hello everyone,

    Mark and model: ASUS X571
Symptoms: not turning on. There is only the LED battery indicator working. The owner of the laptop told me this problem arrived one week after having changed the battery. He then managed to power on the laptop only once, and then it never powered on again.

    Tests already made:
    - Battery is charging when laptop is plugged in. The LED battery indicator turns white after a couple of hours of charge, indicating that battery is fully charged. However, laptop won't turn on anyway, with or without AC plug.
    - I have removed...

  • Acer nitro 5 AN55-515 fh51m LAJ871P no picture

    Hello everyone.
I'm here to ask for help troubleshooting an issue with my Acer Nitro 5 An55-515. Board number fh51m LAJ871P .
The laptop turns on without any image, and after inspection, I noticed the 1.2V voltage was reading 8V spikes. The PQM1 MOSFET's gate was shorted to the source.
I replaced PQM1, PQM2, and PUM1. After turning on the machine, the 1.2V voltage appears correctly for about 1 minute, but after that, PQM1 shorted again. The MOSFET and controller assembly has already been replaced twice and continues to blow. I can't understand what's going on. I should also add...
