  • HP OMEN g3ba n17p NO POWER

Hello, this laptop omen 17-A037NF (motherboard DAG3BAMBAH0 REV : H, SN 5CD812BWNM) of mine won't start at all. The charging light is flashing. The battery is charging properly, the 20V is being supplied, the SIO chip is being supplied with 3V3 and 1V76. I have 5V on one coil, but I don't have 3V3 on the other coil. Therefore, the EEPROM chip isn't being powered. I replaced the 3V3 chip (SY8286C awv7YD) with the SY8288B and the JW5068C, but the result is the same.

So I took a closer look at the 3V3 chip. On pin 11 EN, I measured 4V53, Lx pin 6 0V, BYP 3V3, FB 0V, BS 2V9, and VCC 3V3....

  • i7 2860QM how to raise power limit?

    Hi.
I've just upgraded from i5 2340m TDM 35W to i7 2860QM TDM 45W. All is working fine except during stress test the clock multiplier stays capped at x28 which is 2.8MHz and power draw stays around 35W so it seems the motherboard is limiting power draw. On various websites it reads it should go to 3.3MHz on all 8 cores stressed.
What is the best way to go about raising power limit.
    a) Bios upgrade/unlock?
    b) Hardware/shunt mod?
    c) Reduce the CPUs voltage somehow?

  • Nikon Z8 - No power after impact

    Good afternoon everyone,

This is my first real post here. I am very new to a lot of this, so bear with me. I recently acquired a Nikon Z8 that had been dropped and will not power up. After removing the back of the camera, I found a large FPC cable that was half out of the connector. Great, I though I'd found the problem and reseated the cable and tested. Still no power. I started digging further and found an inductor that had overheated, bulged, and left a residue on the heatsink. I removed the inductor and retested, thinking maybe I would have some functionality, but still nothing....

  • Lenovo E15 Gen 2 GE4B0 GE5B0 NM-D011 Rev 1.0 sometimes not opening problem

Recently, I have started to encounter a problem with Lenovo E15 Gen 2 models not opening. When you try to open the device, it gives a warning sound and does not display an image, when you apply light pressure on the keyboard, the image appears and works for a while, when you turn it off and on, the same thing happens again. Bios was tried, RAM slots were cleaned and soldered to the legs, the problem still persists. There seems to be a problem with the onboard processors, but since Lenovos glue the processor firmly from the sides, the paths are very damaged when removing it. Has anyone encountered...
