Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen2 NM-C771 need dump
 

Hello,

E15 Gen 2 (type 20T8, 20T9) Laptop (ThinkPad) - Type 20T8
GE420/GE520 NM-C771 Rev: 1.0

When trying to read the dump accidently pushed erase instead read. So this model dump was lost.. Does somebody have a dump?

Compatible versions:
ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 (type 20T6, 20T7)
ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 (type 20T8, 20T9)

Hello. I will explain the situation. I got ThinkPad E15 gen2 (nm-771) with supervisor password. Trying to read BIOS dump from eeprom I accidently pushed erase.. so BIOS dump is lost. But I got other dump, what is working on my model. Here I share it. Is it possible to patch it to remove password?
I was trying by self, but patched file is identical to old. I used HxD redactor to compare them..

Now is already late.. other day going to check. Anyway I haven't still received the SIO programmer which have ordered from Russia. When will get, then will be able to check. Then will update..

Hello.
On days finally got SIO programmer and read the firmware from EC. What I should do further?
Briefly remind my problem. I got ThinkPad E15 gen2 (nm-771) with supervisor password.
Now read the EC firmware and share it here. How to remove supervisor password?

Update to this post.
So, managed to find working EC dump from off site. It works well, but here is a problem. I also need to copy region with info about serial number to new dump. When I copy this area of code to new dump and turn on laptop, I get this message:
0177. Bad SVP data, stop POST task
Please help me to copy information about serial number to new code.

Do admin and supervisor password is the same? I tried other BIOS dump. No changes. I found that supervisor password is in EC chip. I found EC dump on off site and it works, no password anymore, everything is okay. BUT, problem is how to move serial number info from old dump to new.
But thank you. I will write a message to that person, who manages to unlock password.

All shared in many forums dumps for ThinkPad E15 gen2 have this problem:
File does not contain Intel Engine/Graphics Firmware.

Could you send me your BIOS dump file please? my laptop stays on black screen withn error 0183, i need to try to repair my laptop.
I already used the "lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 working" file and it doesn't work for me.

hello, i want ask how u read the backup.. there is some extra point then vcc gnd clk ss mosi miso and writeprotection pins or only some sepecific programmer can be read the it8227e with the some pins !!

Hello please can any share his or her idea if they hve tried to read E15 Gen2 EC with vertyanov programmer coz when ever I try to read it keep saying Wrong EC ID
