I was thinking of other amps that usually have a higher value emitter resistor...

It could be for adjusting the DC offset which would be 0 volts across the output, OR it could be to adjust the idle current which would be the voltage across one of the (0.1Ω)emitter resistors,...

You could have a bad t-con or bad panel, try disconnecting the ribbons between the panel & the tcon board.

I suspect it is a LDO not a mosfet, Are you sure about the other number 57199?

How was the transistor shorted? if it was shorted C-B it is likely the driver transistor is also bad, Check all resistors and transistors in that circuit and compare to the working channel if needed....

With the negative meter lead (black) on the chassis, Check the DC voltage at JP107 (+9vdc) and then at JP108 (-9vdc) etc.

Looks like the Blue wire is the center tap and the Red and Brown feed the diodes.
The Black feeds a diode for a negative voltage so it is likely that either Green or Purple goes to ground and the...
