Re: KD-60X690E 2 Blinks
This model, most likely has a wide-spread problem with the main board!
In 2018, my sister received one and it was unusable, according to her. It was broken when it was brand new, in our eyes!

Re: The 2021 Operating System Thread
That's incorrect. 8.1 was what 8.0 should have been! 8.1 allows you to boot directly to desktop with a Start menu. You're not forced to use the "Start screen".

Re: Sharp 70 led t - LC-70UD27U - 2-5 error
The models affected, are the xxLE series. (Where "xx", is the two digits indicating the screen size)
It was the series that apparently led to the Sharp TV division being sold to Hisense.

Re: Psuedo-4K LCD panels
RGB, even with a W pixel together, on OLED, didn't appear to have negative effects.
IIRC, it's RGBW on LCDs that you need to worry about!

Re: Psuedo-4K LCD panels
"pseudo-4K" to me, are LCD-RGBWs! I think the non-totally-fake ones, are true 2K, or at least higher than 1920x1080.
Will the LCDs with RGBW be a fad like the dreaded AMR slots of the early-2000s?

Re: Panasonic FC series - leaking? quality gone?
Was 2004 another bad year for multiple cap manufacturers, even the non-dodgy-brands?! My Asus A7N8X-X from 2004, had bulging and leaking KZGs!
I suspect KZGs from 2004, are the worst KZGs! I should...

Re: 2 no-POST Tyan Tsunami S1846 motherboards
Note, with old-skool motherboards, the IDE cable being backwards, likely causes symptom resembling a damaged CPU, but no damage is likely to be caused by that, at least if you don't leave it on for...

Re: Windows XP EoL Security Rollup...or similar?
About that text telling you to enable JS, that means you blocked too much in NoScript. (or eMatrix in Pale Moon)
Same when you get an error message from a player, like "required source could not...

The new socket 1366 revival attempt of 2020!
I received the triple-channel DDR3 SDRAM kit, which will bring it to 12 GB with only 3 slots, I hope the RAM-related BSODs are gone!
I swear it was powered up for the first time in 2020!
This...

Re: LG 65UH5500 Flashes on then off
Looks likely that I have evidence of LED problems! The 49UH6100 TV that I gave to my sister, looks oddly bluish, a purplish-blue and possibly some dead LEDs!

Re: LG 65UH5500 Flashes on then off
This looks like a close predecessor of the UH6100 series, IIRC, which was also built in 2016. I got it in 2017 and gave it to my sister in later-2018. Now it looks like possibly failing LEDs on it....
