no, the device is temporarily re-assembled.
it's just a 3pin sot-23 package with power going in, ground and power coming out.
i just dont know the voltage or the current limit.

if anybody makes more, use a 44pin mcu - then you can have 128k flash and not be restricted to 32k.

yes,
the problem with changing fonts is that you need to take into account the shorter number of characters you can fit onscreen so it doesnt wrap or make a mess.

i remember a 50ohm load project in a magazine years ago,
it was 2 sheets of tin with a huge number of parallel metal-film resistors soldered between them,
and then it was suspended in a paint-can...

you need the avrgcc compiler and associated tools.
i think those are in the arduino suit.
or use a Linux machine

most alarms flash the lights a different number of times for "arm", and "disarm".
you should just make a board with some fets or "high-side drivers" on it to drive the light circuits.
