UV will kill most plastic very fast.
if you can put it behind glass then most UVB/C will be blocked

btw, imo calibration isnt important - you will just be looking at the waveform if it doesnt have "readout" capability

i had a light like that on my tuner fail once - replaced it with one intended for a vcr deck.

cant do that now, so i'd have to find another way - maybe an led...

it's a 6Mhz ceramic resonator with internal capacitors
the center pin is ground and the outer are the main pair.

and it's a USB keyboard most likely because 6Mhz is a derivative of the clock...
