Re: LED Resistor Calculations ...

After a little research i have found that heat affects the Vf of the LEDs in turn drawing more current, that's why the pads need to be the same size so there is no temperature differential, that ...

Re: Panasonic TX-L50B6B screen "blotches"

Mind the corners when you refit the LCD, it can pop out of the channel it sits in as you refit the front bezel.

Re: LED Resistor Calculations ...

There's no precision but it is science getting the heat out, bad deign is bad design and that will create hot spots at the base of those LEDs.

I don't know the size of your panel but I have one...

Re: LED Resistor Calculations ...

I even included a photo to aid with the explanation.

If you want to improve your design further, then add another couple of vertical breaks so you can remove the trace to the resistor. All anodes...

Re: windows 7

With all your bitching and trying to blame Microsoft for your ignorance I can't tell if you still want it or you've given up.
Maybe just ask next time and save yourself a load of frustration.

Re: Laptop Hard Drive Not Recognize (repair)

The small one is SATA and the large one power. They are universal, a quick search would turn up the pin outs.

In the top left of your photo you have two small squares, they are the diodes. Without...

Re: Quality solder iron tips and Kapton ?

The benefit of T12 tips is the heating element is in the tip, there is no air gap between element and tip, so better thermal inertia as you state but quicker to heat up.

Re: Quality solder iron tips and Kapton ?

Re: Replacing Main Board on One Connect Samsung

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01109041/

This suggests your problem is the cable not any of your boards, unless you were changing the one connect for another reason.

Re: LED Resistor Calculations ...

You want the whole of the front to heat up evenly, remove those traces and have the + and - pads the full width of the board.

Re: help with achi ir6500 profiles

Everyone's environment is different, I'd take the profile you are using at the moment and change it to suit what you are working on. i wouldn't have thought it needs much tweaking.
