could have been a diode, a resistor, a jumper (0 Ohm resistor) or an inductor... we need to know where these traces go.

how do you figure that actually a cap was there first place? Trace both pads and see where they go.

I think you have to explain your problem in much better detail. Did you try different output modes, or other settings? Does it display an error message? etc.

My flooded lead batteries fail to 95% on the outside positive cell. Doesn't matter brand or size or where it sits in. Desulfating batteries that have a bulge seem to die either during desulfation or...

XGECU has a new universal progrmmer along side the TL866II called T56. It uses the same software as the TL866II too. The T56 is faster and it also does more chips.

Oyyyyyyyy... that's easier said then done, Sam. I don't have access to the truck. It runs around with a spare ECM. All I can say that all the big power devices inside the bad ECM are measuring good....

I am sure he did that and also some other tests. Then he somehow determent that the ECM is at fault and changed it out. Then the truck worked o.k.

well that's the problem. I assume yes. Someone diagnosed it as a bad ECM, he cant remember hardly what he had for breakfast, swapped the ECM and sent the truck away. Meanwhile it was laying around...

Well, I guess its time again for another Cummins ECM problem. This time it is the Celect Plus version.

Whats happening?
The darn thing wont go past 1500 rpm. Other than that she is A1. For now...
