Re: Samsung UA60H7000AW Power Supply

I repaired a similar power supply with a blown fuse by replacing the two switching FETS. I think one was shorted. You should be able to measure the short with a multimeter on one side of the fuse...

Re: LG 55 LED No video

Surprised the LEDs are still good or the lenses havent fallen off. If you want your LEDs to last, turn down the backlight level for all inputs and all smart apps.

Re: Samsung UE55H6200 no back light after powering off

This is what your backlights will look like if you run them at max. Both of these examples are Samsungs from H model year. The bad leds on the 58 inch damages the power supply preventing more leds...

Re: Samsung UE55H6200 no back light after powering off

Backlight issues are almost always bad backlights. Turn down the backlight level on all inputs to as low as you can tolerate and turn off eco sensor. If you display a white test image, you may see...

Re: Samsung UN43NU6100F

NU series have high rates of backlight failure. Seen one pic where the LEDs melted/burnt the clear panel.

Re: LG 55 LED No video

Looks like your model is 55LN or 55LA series with backlight failure very common. LGs have shutdown protection of the backlights. https://techhometravel.com/lg-ln-series-bad-led-backlights/

Re: LG 55 LED No video

Model number? Looks like you have no backlight instead of no video. If you have no backlight, bad LEDs are suspect. Typically you will get a flash on power up but an open LED string will cause the...

Re: Sharp LC-50LB371C LED TV VERTICAL LINES

Only repeating lines/patterns may be tcon issues. Single random vertical lines or bands are bad panels.

Re: Insignia NS-48D510NA15 no backlight

Ordered these recently. They were a little bit thinner than the original strips so just taped them down with shipping tape. You can turn down the backlight in the picture settings menu. I would...

Re: Insignia NS-48D510NA15 no backlight

All the LEDs have wear and the ones still working are likely to fail. If you don't want a repeat failure, replace all of them with new and turn down the backlight level.

Re: Samsung UA55EH6030MXSQ Bad LCD Display

Probably a bad panel and not repairable. You can power up the TV with only one side of the TV connected between the tcon and panel. If one side shows a good picture, the panel fault is on the bad...

Re: Samsung un60eh6003f horizontal lines

Vertical lines are panel faults and typically not repairable. Horizontal lines may be repairable if one side is good (confirmed with the bad side disconnected) using the tape cutoff method.

Re: LG 47LS4500 picture issue

That vertical band band corresponds to one of the TAB bond/flex cables (second one in from the edge). You can try putting some pressure on it but likely not repairable.

Re: Vizio M43-C1 No Backlights

ON/OFF (BL-ON) signal not going high. Should be at same level as PS-ON. Signal comes directly from the processor.

Re: Insignia LED TV - Won't turn on

You can reprogram the eeprom with a cheap ch341 usb programmer.

The processor doesnt have a heatsink and is not bga so no point in reflowing it.

Re: Hisense 55'' Issues Mainboard or Power Supply?

Any issue with the backlight is usually the LEDs failing or intermittent. You can try turning down the backlight level and see if they stay on longer. Running at 100% is what causes them to fail.
