Re: Sharp LC-80LE632U 2-5 blink code

Re: Sharp LC-80LE632U 2-5 blink code

Re: Polk Audio RTi100 Plate Amplifier won't power on and intermittently honks and buz

Re: Revox A77 MKIV, No play speeds

Got a replacement transistor (nte234 as an equivalent). Now have VU meters working for both sides following the input signal levels. Moving towards checking outputs with a tape, hopefully...

Re: Battery problem handheld scope fn1rs1-5012h

charging amps are down to .3 amp. Left "non-charging" for a while to "stabilize" the battery voltage. It reads 4.1v which is kind of like some of the camera batteries that I have which indicate...

Re: Battery problem handheld scope fn1rs1-5012h

you are probably right as it does seem a bit thick compared to lipo packs. The good news is that its currently drawing about .6 amps according to the usb monitor AND now if I turn on the unit with...

Re: Repair or Replace

they can have all the spares you need / want BUT unless there is some "control" on pricing, it is likely that the end result will still be alot of "recycling".

Re: Sharp LC-90LE745U 3 slow and 1 fast Blink

As indicated, backlight testers are a "gross tool" for "quickly testing" backlights. However, most cannot provide the current demands that are used. Hence, if you have individual led issues,...

Re: Revox A77 MKIV, No play speeds

Found a faulty transistor in chII, q401 (bc179) at the front stage of the input amp. Hopefully, that's the one problem at this signal point.

Re: Revox A77 MKIV, No play speeds

Re: Revox A77 MKIV, No play speeds

I can hear some sound coming to the headphones on chII with the rec VOL cranked full but the VU shows on a slight "voltage". There is continuity from the input RCA plug to the input amp board pins...

Re: Revox A77 MKIV, No play speeds

Re: Sharp LC-90LE745U 3 slow and 1 fast Blink

the whole point of the test that I suggested is to remove the main board from the system / control so that basically you have the set powering up and creating proper voltages. IF that happens, you...

Re: Sharp LC-90LE745U 3 slow and 1 fast Blink

I think you need to jump it to PS-ON not PN-POW. This turns the power supply on. You should get backlights on and other voltages... all pins should be measured and checked.

It doesn't sound...

Re: Sharp LC-90LE745U 3 slow and 1 fast Blink

From reads herein, I think that you can disconnect the main from the power board and then jumper the ps-on pin thru a resistor to 5v pin to turn the power supply on. The backlights should also come...
