Re: SLES 2012SVS40 mistake, need help

Sorry, misread my own notes. The 3 wires from the PS are to drive two parallel banks so the 4 banks were wired in series to create two banks to drive from the 3 wires. You should be able to verify...

Re: Baird TI4909DLEDDS - cant exit Burn in mode

I had a RCA or Haier stuck in aging mode and I had to buy a main board, read the eeprom, reflashed the bad one, and resold the board.

Re: SLES 2012SVS40 mistake, need help

Yes I've done this before with a 55" ES. 10 pins is wired for 4 banks and 6 pins is likely 1 bank. You will need to connect the four banks in series.

No backlight, flash of backlights, intermittent backlights, dim backlights are all symptoms of bad backlights in LED TVs. Your TV is LED googling the model number. LED TVs dont have inverters. ...

Re: Insignia NS-32D511NA15 intermittent video on powerup

Is the video going out or the backlight? I would guess it is the backlight based on the model number.

Re: LG 55UH615A not turning on

Looks like you have two problems. Model appears edge lit from bottom and left side strips are all out. Repeating vertical lines with no video is likely bad tcon though some newer models don't have...

Re: Sony XBR-55X850D LED strip replacement

I have never encountered a LED TV where you DIDN'T have to remove the panel to get at the LEDs. Edge lit models are fairly much the same and sometimes the diffuser sheets sit on top of the inner...

Re: TCL S425 series LEDs

A 75 inch TV is an extremely difficult repair with a high chance of cracking the screen. Taking it apart more than once will increase the odds of cracking it if you are successful the first time. ...

Re: TCL S425 series LEDs

Samsung UN58H5202AF Burnt Q9102C

I have repaired this model about a dozen times with bad backlights causing Q9101C on BN44-00787A to short out. Usually I find about 50% of the LEDs shorted. I typically replace the FET, power up...

Re: Samsung U32EH4003 problem.

You probably have a lot of bad LEDs. Here's a pic of a UN40H. The diode could be shorted but easy to test with a multimeter. You can also test each LED individually with the multimeter in diode...

Re: Samsung un58j5190 power supply failed

Have two power supply boards with blackened areas above Q9102C for UN58H5202. The marking is 5N40 (NCH, 5A, 400V) and not 3N40 (3A). If Q9101C is shorted, part is 50R380CE (NCH, 500V, 14A,...

Re: Vizio e601i-a3 No image, backlight flashes and shuts off

Flash of backlights is a symptom of bad backlights. A typical LED tester only puts out about 20mA while the TV can run at several hundred. If you have the TV apart, observe/video record the...

Re: Mitsubishi LT-52246 has sound but no backlight

Old LCD CCFL TVs are obsolete and usually not worth it to repair. The inverter circuits are a high shock hazard with thousands of volts. That being said, I have seen bad transformers, shorted FETs...

Flickering image is a bad panel. Doesn't look like the backlight is flickering though it will be easier to tell with a proper video image. You can try blocking pins on the bad side or as a last...

Re: Sony Bravia blinking red 7 times after lightening KDL-55DL-55EX720

You can find a service manual at Elektrotanya if you google. 5 blinks is panel/tcon. I would check for 12V on the tcon fuse. If not present, there may be a blown surface mount fuse on the main...
