the original design was 3.3v - so i presumed it could work.
and the oled runs at 3.3v no issues

i think they can go down to 1.8v at 3A

looking closer,
maybe we should run it at 3.3v
then we can use a lithium cell instead of a 9v battery that may only be good for a few hundred mA
maybe a 500mA cell from a disposable vape together...

can you get linear regulaters operating at sub-volt range?
these testers use very low voltage to avoid turning semiconductors on.

gerbers arent the issue,
i could cad that up in an hour or so.

the issue is Kripton changed the circuit because it couldnt provide enough stable current.
and a full circuit with changes wasnt...

it's an OLED - get a selection of white, blue and mixed colour. :)
i wish they sold them in green - it would look like an old crt :)

do you mean your not getting enough current from the one on the arduino?
that doesnt surprise me really.
you probably need to use a 1A linear regulator and some tantalum caps

i'v seen the F411 blackpill,
but you may as well spend a bit more for a nucleo64 with the chip on.
then you get more i/o and an st-link programmer/debugger module.

making a clean hole is always a challenge, but mounting is easy.
just put a block of packaging foam behind it to gently press it against the front.
