looks like some of the traces on the board are oxidized. I can't blow the pic up to look closer.

those panel tabs do get hot when tv is on. 2 nd pic is again fuzzy - can see anything. Have you tried pressing on bad tab area with tv on - any change ??

looked at both boards - the one that heater relay is burnt - solder joints were good. The good board which I installed and ran 2 loads of clothes was bad but it worked liked that for 2 loads. Fixed...

I see bad solder joint in pic - unfortunately I have 2 boards - one works - other has burnt relay, trans, and maybe diodes. check in morning.

Have a whirlpool duet control board - part #3978918. Also wp8546219. Does anybody recognize what this SMD transistor is ? Also the 2 diodes ?

You need to try to fix those traces or I'd part out tv. how about a close up of the busted traces.

pics - found bad cap 10Uf 500V. replaced it - washer seems to work now. ran 3 loads with no issues.

appears that all functions work -rotating the knob selects any cycle. the only fault is the start button doesn't start the cycle that was selected. The start button is acknowledge as I hear a beep...

Theyre not any special metal - I'd fix the tv and re-use them if possible. you're not going to find them at any hardware store. If you want new ones -maybe EBAY

turns out nothing was wrong with control board except I scratched some traces on board when removing gunk around components. Samsung has some of the worst documentation on their products. turns out...
