Re: LG 65UH5500 Flashes on then off

Re: LG 65UH5500 Flashes on then off

Re: Is my Laptops Hard Drive on it's Way Out? (4 Year Old Samsung ST1000LM024)

Seagates usually display raw values for the "Raw Read Error Rate" attribute! Even brand new Seagate HDDs that aren't bad!

Re: Remember the Vacuum Tube Era

I got whacked by the spark plug wire on a gasoline lawn mower engine in the mid-1990s, LOL. (Most likely an old Briggs&Stratton 3 HP)

Re: macOS Big SUR changed my life

When I hardly knew a thing about computers, when at The Vermont Achievement Center, in Rutland, Vermont, which I was there from probably late fall, 1988 to July 5, 1994, I saw IIs the most.

Re: macOS Big SUR changed my life

Both of my main systems are Ryzens.

The second one is a Ryzen 5 2600 on an AsRock A320M/ac motherboard.

Re: macOS Big SUR changed my life

Worse, is when you have a pre-10th-gen Core i-series processor and the motherboard maker refused to give a UEFI BIOS update to include the latest update to Intel CSME. (converged security and...

Re: Samsung 2693HM - Doesn't turn on (no standby)

Sounds a lot like a short, if not a short to the chassis. It could be as simple as a solder joint touching something else that's conductive.

Re: Gigabyte GA-P43T-ES3G - Any good?

That's funny, I got my P45 motherboard for $100 in 2013. It's probably one of the last DDR2 motherboards made, it's the Asus Maximus II Gene. It's one of the ROG'ers. ;)

Of course with DDR2, you...

Re: [HOWTO] Fix/Repair "Chassis Intruded Fatal Error System Halted" on Asus P5QL

Reminds me of my Asus socket 1366 motherboard, using a Radeon RX580, causes to CMOS to get reset, a bad bug!

Re: Coil whine on old PWS-865-PQ (Supermicro 865W PSU)

Re: Iphone 6 Dead - Diagnosis

iPhone 6s failing, is common in our household, IMX!

My mother's iPhone 6, lasted the longest before any notable problems. Seemed to be the only one left, LOL.
