Schematic really poor quality ,but managed to reverse engineer circuitry .

TR701 , 2SC871 breaking down under load .

Replaced with 2SC1345 , which i had to fit reversed due to pin configuration...

AU101 Sansui amp schematic please

Hi all

Right channel works but a touch noisy .

Left channel no audio .

Proved issue is on the control pre-amp board , by injection an audio signal directly into the audio output / drive board

May have cracked it .

Under magnification spotted dry joint o the XLR PCB connector on the main board . Also re - flowed connector on XLR board .

Just to be clear , she can connect & use her older model iPhone , but not the 13 .

Suspect it may be a compatibility issue ,but no later update available for TV ....

Hi yes , Loewe have to be different .

Set also seemed to be shutting down by itself, but to be fair i had been running it without heat sinks on LVDS & CPU chips , albeit with a fan pointed at them...

Stencil arrived , re-balled LVDS chip & TV now running on test .

No audio via HDMI 1 for some reason , but not really concerned , as customer has another 3 ports to play with .

Just had an update from customer .

Managed to get her old iPhone to work ,but having issues with her new one .

I did check for software updates when i had TV at workshop , but latest version...

Hi all

Customer was using like this before i repaired TV .

Carried out a complete reset at workshop , therefore all settings lost .

Spent at least half an hour trying to set up her iPhone as...

Q17 & Q18 , both type IRFP4229


Q17 S/C , & will also replace Q18 as they seem to work together .

Now on order & will update thread once parts arrive .

The LVDS BGA chip , yes .

I tend to re-ball rather than re-flow , as it's more reliable .

Turn of event it seems .

Allowed the board cool down fully , as it had been sitting on pre-heater , then powered again .

To my delight set powered ,with half picture good & the other noise .

On lifting the main board , suspect i have discovered the issue .

There's quite a chunky silicon thermal pad the sits between the chassi & underside of BGA CPU chip .

Pad had leaked out quite...

This set seems to power up , with LED at front changing to GREEN , but no picture , or backlight , plus cannot set TV back to standby .

Also stated on thread found that the opto's can go leaky .

Not taking any chances therefore replaced U102 & U103 , both type CNY17F-1
