a lot of people swear by the gold plated leads from Bryman.
not tried them myself - i just buy cheap shit and replace them every year or so when i bend or snap the tips! :D

very few people use the current range on a meter - so it's irelevent.
the size of the tips is more critical - you need them thin and sharp so you can probe small parts
