Re: Kenwood DNX570HD No boot Red Triangle Lit - Characteristic Fault?

The USB has to be formatted in FAT? I have tried FAT32 and nothing happened.

Re: Looking for a new hot air station, any recommendations?

I will turn it on and see if it is working, but I won't be using it for a while. I'm working on my garage, so it is not usable to work in there. Building a mancave.

Re: Kenwood EEPROM question

These BGAs create so many issues, in so many devices.

Re: Kenwood EEPROM question

Sorry to hear that. What else is on that board, I don't remember. It could be a missing voltage?

Looking for a new hot air station, any recommendations?

Anybody has experience with Weller WTHA-1, Best BST-863, Quick TR1300A, or Quick 861DW?
It is quite a price difference between them, but watching/reading reviews/forums, even the Best looks good.
I...

Re: Yamaha RX-A3010 working, no sound output

I don't know anything about this receiver, just an idea I'm throwing out there. Recently, with somebody's(TJmotter) help on another forum, we have found a Mute IC, that was shorted, an op-amp IC had...

It would be nice, if the replacement nand would fix it, but who knows, maybe the MICOM is bad and not the nand.
How much it was and how long it takes to get it. Usually you have to wait for them,...

Re: Onkyo TX-NR525 Bad Caps???

Bad caps were on the older receivers, on these newer ones the DSP IC solder balls are the most likely cause. Try reheating that Texas Instruments DSP IC, or you may have to replace it, which is hard...
