you can get good panasonic replacements from RS in the u.k.

postage/handling wont be fun though.
CPC has lower minimum order rules - maybe cpc has some.

UV will kill most plastic very fast.
if you can put it behind glass then most UVB/C will be blocked

btw, imo calibration isnt important - you will just be looking at the waveform if it doesnt have "readout" capability
