my dad said he used some infra red lights in them for camera spotlights using a custom transformer. Not totally sure it actually worked, he leaves out details like that.

I think a lot of this has been mitigated by better management systems built into firmware (mind you generally not cheaper brands). That does even writes across the logical flash

but apaq isn't bottom barrel for polys, but most used for cheaper equipment.

afa laptops go, I bought a Lenovo Flex 6-14 (AMD version) off my sister for $400 (originally ~$800). She hated it, she's always a mac fan, so she got a new macbook. Was/is in SUPERB condition.

it's not a bios password, it's an eeprom password. If you're comfortable enough, you might be able to unsolder the eeprom and buy a new one (re-programming i've read might have issues)

it's website shows it's an intel card driver. Not sure why you have an atheros in there.

generally any m.2 wifi card will be ok in any m.2 slot, it still uses a pci-e channel on the m.2 A/E slot....
