Check them in ohm mode, probably be suspicious of any under 100 ohms or so.

That's a good question, maybe some of the guys familiar with these UF's can advise, seems kind of scarey with the XDA engine BGA chips being known to fail way too early and mainboards being so scarce...

Is this LC470EUS-SCA1 your panel number? is on a sticker on back metal panel sometimes hard to see.

Looks like the XDA engine BGA chips are failing pretty regularly, don't know that I would even trust a used mainboard, maybe a repair service with at least a 6 month guarantee, a good question to ask...

One thing that I notice is that the 11 has 5 rca jacks where as the 21 has 3 rca jacks.

I think a 65 inch sony is definitely worth 75 bucks or so if a mainboard will fix it.

No guarantee but I would try a mainboard, looked but didn't see any on ebay AU, this one appears to be a match, looks to be a few available for about the same price, you can match up the numbers on...

Ok, was a guess, since there was no model and no pics. Do you have 12 v coming out of the connector? tcon fuse is good? has continuity?

^ Isn't that a forum violation? Over 200 words and none had anything to do with fixing this double image issue, OP did you try turning down the backlights not brightness and see if display changes...

So you have 12 volts on each side of fuse? It would be going into tcon from mainboard not power supply.

Your looking for around 12 volts on each side of fuse black - probe on metal chassis back red probe on each side, that way you know that you have 12 going in and 12 going out and that your fuse is...
