I have had very pore luck soldering to aluminum , like with a few a/c condencers . I took them to a shop and had them tig welded .

Even good meters will vary a bit . To me if it works , I dont worry about it . You might see what other volt meters you can buy/barrow .

I knew a guy that would put 120 v 60 hz on the small speakers they used in cheep tranny radios in the 60s . They had a real loud buzz for a secount or two .

You can check the pri and sec power trn. with the wires off. The ovens I have checked have had open pri. trn. Its cheeper to get a new oven than a power transformer .

On Linux runing on a hard drive, I am using Mint on the lap top I am typeing this from . The iso is like 1.9 gig , 2 something running with all the swap files.

Yea , I have had a puppy too . I dont know what this costs . You could either buy a new one or go the solder and heat shrink route with each wire .

The sat. antennas are used around 12 ghz . , but I dont think that stops them from working as 2.4 ghz .
