Thanks, yes, it looks like it, when I cracked open the power supply, I found 2 1000uF/16V caps that are bulging on top. I haven't delved further to see if they are part of the +5V SB circuit yet...

Yes, it reads open. And there are similar phases in the area, so it should be easy enough to determine the value.

No, they look ok. The majority are KZG, and a few polymers, but they all look ok, all over the board.

The manual for the 760 lists the error codes, but for the 3-4 error code, it would be accompanied by a steady green or steady amber power...
