The parts usually cost pence and the boards pounds, it's almost always more economical to repair the boards than replace them especially if the replacements are second hand.

I have a Bakon 950D, less than 20, it comes with a T13 tip but they stick out further than t12 tips, so it's in the recycling and I just use t12 tips.

They don't stick out further, the ridges are...

Rather than reflow give it 120c for a minute. Nothing melts but it should expand enough to work and give a clue as if you are in the right place.

I have a rework machine, I use the same profile for reflowing everything, perhaps adjusting if the PCB is a bit thicker than usual.

10. I think that should read remove excess flux not solder ?...

If none of the threads on here have that info, I'd pick one and give it some heat for around a minute (around 120) and see if it turns on.

There are only two "Never install in the following locations" in the instructions and both have been ignored.

Never install in the following locations: inside the metal cabinet. Closer than 20cm from the power lines.

All three HDMI go to a CXB1444R before going to the processor. It's either that or a component(s) near the "red box" HDMI ports.

Was the XBOX powered on when you plugged in the HDMI cable ?
Have you checked with a magnifier/microscope for physical damage to the ports ?
Can we see photos of the mainboard and can you indicate...

That model laptop perhaps doesn't have as good a filtering as it could and your electricity isn't as clean as it could be.

A standard two pad LED ? I think it's measuring like that as it's in circuit.

Page 4.4, only after tests the power supply work are tests on the mainboard done.
