Re: lg 47LB585V help to identify ic please

The data sheet says "pull below 1.2V to disable" so I gues a voltage greater than 1.2V will enable it.

Re: lg 32LC46 backlight inverter board fault

It may be worth checking the electrolytic capacitors around the OZ964 for increased ESR or capacitance value.

Re: lg 32LC46 backlight inverter board fault

Have you checked the underside of the inverter board for hot spots ie browning of the board.

Is the PFC voltage measured as given in the manual?

Re: Samsung UN32N5300 SmarTV -2018

Another though is...........have you measured the voltages at the led connector (with leds disconnected) and then power up and see what the voltage peaks to. If ithe peak exceeds the 57V then it's...

Re: Samsung UN32N5300 SmarTV -2018

Just a quick thought. Can you check the resistance and inductance of T9101C. There have been a few issues with inductors running hot and failing in the led circuits.

Re: lg 47LB585V help to identify ic please

You may well be correct. Just looking at the application note show there are two mosfets connected in totem pole so the 240 ohms could well mean that one of the internal mosets is damaged.
Good luck...

Re: lg 47LB585V help to identify ic please

The 240 ohm reading would appear to be fine and is not a high load on the 1.5V supply

Re: lg 47LB585V help to identify ic please

Are you saying L2411 has a resistance of 240 ohms or the output of the IC (1.5V ) to ground measured 240 ohms.
What is the resitance with the meter on one pad of L2411 to ground and again what is...

Re: lg 47LB585V help to identify ic please

If you lift L2411 are pins 10, 11 & 12 still short and if not is the other end of L2411 showing the short.

Re: Samsung 65 Dead NO power NO standby light won't turn on

You can measure the voltage on that link and see if it is at 7.V volts when in standby and 11.8V when out of standby. Meter set to dc voltage and can use the chassis as ground.

Re: Vestel 17IPS71 + 17MB82S - no standby

Do you have +24V on L5 which is a link on your board?
You have D11, D13 & D15 on board which rectify the voltage feeding to L5 (24V)

Re: Vestel 17IPS71 + 17MB82S - no standby

A photo of your power supply may be useful. It should provide 24V and the 5V is probably derived from the 12V at the mainboard.
What revision 17IPS71 is the power supply.

Re: THOMSON 32lb120s4 no sound

You may have a faulty Q1 or the +5V from the TDA7490L may be missing or either the ON/OFF or MUTE signal may be stuck at +5V.

Physical size could be that it may be better at reducing the ripple current on that supply.

Re: THOMSON 32lb120s4 no sound

The +5V and -5V are internally generated by the TDA7490L and available on pin 12 (+5V) and pin 16 (-5V).
The +5V (+VA5) then goes off to supply Q1 which controls the ON/OFF and Mute function.
