Re: Denon AVR-X2000 no audio
Depends what the fuses protect. Are they in the power supply? Or do they protect the speaker outputs? Or what? Hard to tell from the photo.

Re: SONOS Play 1 no power burnt out component
Check your main filter capacitor too. If it's bad, that could be why the MOSFET blew to begin with. The MOSFET snubber network is also suspect.
I would also check diodes etc around the FAN6751,...

Re: Trying to renew my old computer
That's why you have to strip it down to bare minimum parts before looking at BIOS etc.
Other bad devices always have the chance to cause problems.

Re: never trust samsung
I never wanted a smart TV and now I want one even less.
It's fine, you can get regular TVs for free when other people "upgrade" haha

Re: recap help AcBel PSU
Nothing so wrong with using recycled capacitors IF you remember you don't know how much longer they're going to last. You might have to replace them again in 6 months- if you're okay with that.

Re: LED Resistor Calculations ...
The side view drawing shows the right pad and lower pad as the same physical piece.
They could have stated it specifically, but dealing with vague datasheets is another joy of design! If in doubt...

Re: Swapping out a NiMh for a LiPo?
Sharp inner corners (45 degrees and below) can create an "acid trap" that could cause undercutting of the trace during etching.
Also, sharp angles are no good for high frequency signals, so traces...

Re: What is the resistor value?
I can see what looks like a solder bridge next to the bottom right (pin 8) of the LA4570, from a through hole component to an SMD capacitor.
I also notice discolouration on some tracks and VIAs on...

Re: LED Resistor Calculations ...
While the precision of components has improved over the years, no two components are manufactured exactly the same, so no, there is no exact voltage. That's why they give a range, or just specify the...

Re: Black plastic goo question.
I've seen a few devices where rubberised or rubber parts turned to gloop but many more where they didn't, including things that are decades old. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.
In my...

Re: Identify diode
Looks like the switching MOSFET for the LED backlight driver. Driven from pin 26 of that EUP2589. Pretty weird though that the silkscreen for that MOSFET reads the pin labels like a linear regulator!...

Re: Identify diode
322C is probably the date code given that 5100B matches a diode that does exist, and one of those SB5100s would make sense given its use in circuit.
100v is just the maximum reverse voltage, it...
