Re: shorted celeron cpu?

I almost forgot... Use 1500uf 16v instead of 1200uf. All I usually find locally on 16v 105ēC is 1500uf

Re: shorted celeron cpu?

Too bad they don't carry the caps you need. The way I see it, you have three choices:

If you live in Buenos Aires, you can see if you find proper caps on a place I've heard of. I don't know for sure if this place carry proper capacitors (I don't live in BsAs). I've found out about...

Re: Flakey Bestec ATX-250 12Z?

Try changing the VMM battery. My VMM gives wrong high readings when his 9v battery is too low.

Re: GQ 3151 w/ Macron model MPT-251 PS

Hi all.
I'm trying to learn which of the small caps present on most PSUs are worth recapping.
Would someone be so kind as to explain which caps is Momaka aiming at with the specs he gave? (22uf or...

I've seen a couple of these PSUs. On one of them, the PCB had "ATX-1000" silkscreened; the other had "ATX-2000" on it. The most obvious difference between them was...

Re: soyo dragon+ and dragon ultra

I'm no expert, but it sounds like a 5vsb problem.
You could give another another PSU a try.
Or you could try to find out which motherboard caps are filtering the 5vsb. This could be done with a DMM.

Re: 192MB RAM and Windows XP

I would guess the fps increase you're getting with ACPI disabled has to do with the fact that on some machines, enabling ACPI means having a lot of devices banded together on a single IRQ. I don't...
