Re: BN44-00274a dead

A/C is supplied from live, to one end of NT801s, the other end of the ntc connects to DB810~DB812, This Dc connects to FC803 (fuse) and charges CB816 to approx. 150vdc. This supplies the transformer...

Re: Fanatec Wheel Base PCB Eyelet Replacement?

I don't think he is trying to fill a hole, the hole which had a feed-thru is where the usb pin is located, he just needs to connect a thin wire between the usb pin and where the trace went.

Re: BN44-00274a dead

What schematic are you using? I don't see CB8015 or CB801s
In the datasheet you will see it has an internal startup cel that takes the voltage from the drain (pin1) and internally supplies startup...

Re: Dead but clicking Hanns-G HC194D?

What is the number on IC53? I believe this is a scr that is there for protection, it should have a couple resistors connected to it's gate and then two zener diodes, one connected to the +5v and one...

Re: BN44-00274a dead

Many times if the ic had poor solder connections, the ic becomes defective, sometimes they survive but not always. If RB807 is ok, the ic is likely still bad. I would also replace CB803 and CB815,...

Re: BN44-00274a dead

That voltage is fine, it is the voltage that supplies icb801s and should also be on pins 1 & 2 of TB801s transformer. Keep the negative lead on CB816 (-) to check voltages in the primary circuit. ...

Re: TCL 49S405 burnt resistor R413 and will not power on

If R413 is open, it is likely QW2 is shorted, When this happens, U402 ic may also be damaged along with the gate drive components and the CS resistor R402

Re: BN44-00274a dead

Yes it can be tested on the bench, You should get stby 5.2v like this.
To power on the rest of the supply, this power supply requires you install about a 1k resistor between stby 5.2v and PS_ON to...

Re: bn44-00208a

The taller cap may be slightly better quality cap that was installed at the factory, That cap is for the +5v standby supply and that supply is always on that could be why they did it, installing a...

Re: bn44-00264c - CCFL emulation

With no ccfl connected the voltage will be high, so it is likely the over voltage protection is shutting down the drive.
You may be able to disconnect one of the diodes ie: DI806 ~ DI812 for the bad...

Re: BN44-00274a dead

Have you checked FB801S? You will not have A/C at BD801S until RL802S is energized, and this will not happen until you have the standby circuit working. If the fuse is ok, check the solder...

Re: OK SA-1000 Soldering Station

If you can't find the part, make a ring out of metal (thin copper or tin) that will fit around the ring to hold it together.

Re: Sony HCD-SH2000 No sound

I would suspect a bad audio output, either a bad ic406~409 or a bad output transistor Q1418~1425.
I would check if there was any DC voltage on any of the speaker connections, it could be that there...

Re: Motor control board repair

That proves the bridge rectifier and the rest of the -15v circuit is ok. The fault is then with either the transformer not supplying the a/c to the bridge or there is a break (or small fuse) between...

Re: Motor control board repair

I suspect you have the -15 volts, It was only missing because the main transformer was not being used.

Re: Motor control board repair

It should be ok, but you could also just check the resistance like I said. The transformer winding should connect directly to the ~~ connections on the bridge rectifier.

Re: Philips 43PUH4900/88 will not power up

Since you have a scope, do you have any output from the LD5532GS ic? 12v on the vcc pin seems low, it should be closer to 16v to turn on. Also check the dc voltage on pin #1 it should be over 1 volt...

Re: Motor control board repair

Are you getting a/c voltage to SR3? It is likely a bridge rectifier, why it is labeled SR3, who knows.
If you are not getting any a/c to the bridge, check the resistance of the traces and the power...
