Re: PSU fault KPL-L01 IC AP3041 TV Haier 50 "Mod 50YAC

The voltage on Pin 5 as per your reply in post 5 is correct as per the data sheet you provided. The supply voltage VCC is well within the operating range of the IC.

The data sheet also says that...

Re: PSU fault KPL-L01 IC AP3041 TV Haier 50 "Mod 50YAC

What voltage do you have on Pin 5 of th AP3041. The maximum voltage at that pin should not exceed 27V.

Re: Top screen color fading

If you check the dc voltage across the two legs of each of those capacitors it cannot measure more than 400V, the rating of each capacitor, otherwise the capacitors would explode.

I can't quite...

Re: Samsung UN55D6005SF

It's looking more like you have a mainboard fault with the BLU_ON signal not being activated.

Re: Samsung UN55D6005SF

BLU On = 0V means the backlights are not being switched on.
If you disconnect the mainboard from the power supply do the backlights come on and stay on?

Re: Sony 46EX400 dim picture

It looks as either the lower tubes are not lighting at full brighness (aged) or there is an issue with the inverter.

Re: Samsung PS42C450B1W Picture Noise/Solarization

That's a pity. Can you check your voltages as given on page 56 of the manual. The correct voltages for your set will be as given on the voltage label on your set.

Re: LG 60LN5400 Blows TCON Fuse

That's a pity. If you did you could have set the current trip to 3Amps and then raised the voltage towards 12V to power the Tcon.

Re: LG 60LN5400 Blows TCON Fuse

If it's a 12V supply and a 3 Amp fuse then 4 ohms will result in 3 amp current flow which it right at the fuse maximum rating. Anything less than 4 ohms will result in the fuse blowing.
Do you have...

Re: Blaupunkt 49/235z Backlight Inoperative

As already said by others it looks like a led problem. Led testers don't test the leds at full current which is why led testers can operate the led strings. Post #8
