Re: DA0U8AMB6A0 REV A No display, maybe dead processor?

HWPG-1.4V-This is the problem. Should be 3.3V. Check HWPG pins on each and every PWM. You can try to isolate them one by one by removing the diode connected on HWPG output of PWM(if no diode is...

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 330 Onboard Memory Fail

Stuff RC1631 & 1632 only. Both 10K. This will disable onboard ram and make it sodimm only.

Shift RC1609 to RC1610 if you want to disable graphics.

Thats All.

Re: Dell la-9832p no charging

The reading seems incorrect to me. How ACN/ACP voltage can differ by such huge margin. ACDRV at 28V is too high. I think you need to replace the battery of your DMM.

Re: ASUS ViviBook X512F no power

You should replace the 2nd mosfet first before troubleshooting further. Probing further without replacing it may be futile and pure waste of time.

Re: hp probook 430 g4 DA0X81MB6E0 rev:E

No one can give advise based on symptoms only. You need to give measurements, details the steps you have taken etc etc. A good detailed description with measurements will always get attention and...

Re: LA-C501P No ACDRV??

SDA/SCL present?? What is the voltage on ILIM?? DK1-voltage on both sides?? Try removing DK1 and see if ACOK appears on charging IC.

Re: Asus TUF Gaming F15? Is this worth fixing? PCH WARM

The PCH is perhaps shorted and hence needs to be removed. To do this you need bga machine. You need to check resistance on all coils before and after removing PCH. If you lack the tools/expertise,...

Re: Toshiba L50-A

It is the heat applied during mosfet soldering/desoldering thats doing the trick. Perhaps mosfet are fine. Is the charging IC located very near to these 2 mosfets?? If the location is not too near,...

Re: Toshiba C655 not seeing HDD or ODD

If schematic is available, then you need to check whether voltage is present on HDD connector. If voltage is ok, then drive should atleast spin.

Re: ASUS ViviBook X512F no power

The charging IC measurement seems fine. There should be voltage on the source of 2nd fet as you are aware. Confirm it by measuring on CLR?? There should not be any voltage here in your case. Is the...

Re: Dell Latitude 3550 not powered on

I'm afraid if the mb was powered on without 3/5V PWM ic in place, there could be multiple damages on the mb.

Do you have a dc supply?? It seems to me the mb is indeed getting turned on but partially as you do have 1.2V rail. VCCSA present??

Re: ASUS ViviBook X512F no power

Replace the 2nd mosfet, dont replace the charging IC now. Power up, what is the status?? CLR stands for Current Sensing Resistor usually located just after the 2nd dc-in mosfet.

Re: Dell N4010 Does not power on.

Though CRO is needed, but in absence of the tool you can measure on pads of crystal with Dmm for voltage. The two pads should differ by 0.2-0.3V between them. This will give you a rough idea whether...

Re: LA-C501P No ACDRV??
