Read the ERROR and it appears the error is T2 RAM ERROR (4014) that we keep getting back. So put the original ram back in and now that is giving off an error as well (RAM ERROR) so maybe we should...

Bypass method is not permanent why would anyone want to do that when changing the serial is 100% never coming back even if you DFU restore it?

Visually the fans spin for one second and then stop and repeat. Nothing seems to be working. DFU wont post and nothing. Does anyone have an idea what ould be of this iMac Pro? Was working before...

Replaced battery same issue is happening. No clue. Only one Green light is on on the board.

well this is an odd battery for an iMac Pro 2017. It looks like a welded BR2450A Panasonic 3V battery but with two of them. Weird....

Also went back in installed all the old parts and still wont recover. The iMac was working perfectly until the install. No parts were damaged. Wondering if the T2 chip on this went bad?

Did a major upgrade with OEM parts, now the iMac will not restore in DFU

here is the error message.

Unexpected device state 'DFU' expected 'Recovery' (Probably forced into DFU mode externally)...

Not true. MDM can still have Activation lock to the company email. Changing the serial will solve this issue and remove the lock for good. Even with iBridge 6+

I believe we found the issue. Controller chip was not allowing communication between the USB cables besides charging. Will keep you posted.

I guess this is a no clue for anyone? Also got it plugged into an external ethernet and it booted to the error again. So I have no idea what is to come of it.

Might have to do a restore, also if that doesn't help check the battery to make sure it is a good battery. Believe it or not a bad battery will not allow a proper restore or revive.

Hey mon2 how are you? So this does not explain the DFU issue. This error -9000F can be easily fixed with a DFU restore. There is no data on this computer and needs to get restored to fix this...

Believe it or not it is stored into the T2 chip. That information is easily obtained if you had admin access to the board if bypassed. What do I mean?
