Re: No output through lvds, only hdmi

Never mind. I see that there is communication occurring on the lvd_ddc lines during the first second of turning on.

Another symptom. While in windows, if I booted with the lcd plugged in, but HDMI...

I got the schematic from here:

Re: No output through lvds, only hdmi

I have not found info on flashing the EDID with a raspberry pi. But I did find a LTN140AT26 l01 on another lenovo, isntalled it, but still got a black screen, so I would imagine it isn't an EDID...

Re: DSLR canon sl2 flash error 50

I can't. The trace goes from the flash board to the flex connector on the motherboard, then the trace from the motherboard goes into the second layer of the board. I does not come out the other side....

Re: DSLR canon sl2 flash error 50

I own a t3i, and both lenses focus perfectly with the t3i. So I can rule out it being the lens. The MCU might need programming, so I guess that's out of the question. I can't seem to find what...

Re: DSLR canon sl2 flash error 50

Thank you, great info. I have removed the phase detector, just to clean the outer glass. Mine is separated into 3 divisions, unlike that nikon in the video. But it did not fix the issue. The mirror...

Re: No output through lvds, only hdmi

Thanks. Would it be this if the screen works correctly in another laptop? I'm asking since I would have to buy a programmer just to try and flash it.

Re: DSLR canon sl2 flash error 50

There seems to be no damage to the phase detection auto focus flex cable. It is just the phase detection system. If I disconnect the phase detector flex, the lens will focus in our out but not both....

Re: No output through lvds, only hdmi

Part number LTN140AT26, it gives a black screen (backlight on).
One that gives a scrambled output is: LTN140AT07.
Both work great on a Compaq CQ40 that I have here.

And as for the first one it...

Re: No output through lvds, only hdmi

Every signal pin has a voltage. Most are around 3.3v, others around 1.5v. Do pins that have "clk" need to have a clocl on them? With an oscilloscope, two of the clk pins are stable at 3.3v.

Re: DSLR canon sl2 flash error 50

I have opened it and made sure all connections are okay. I definitely has lost it's autofocus capability. I can still autofocus and take pictures in live view mode. But while using it's mirror, the...

Yeah, it's not even trying to charge it. Thanks for the warning, I work on switching power supplies so I take my precautions. The camera also does not want to focus using the autofocus points (not...

Re: Samsung NP365E5C random power off

Thanks for the reply. I finally got some extra time today, I swapped out all of the 330uf capacitors under the cpu, a total of 5, I went ahead and swapped all just to be sure. But the laptop still...

Re: DSLR canon sl2 flash error 50

That seems to be it. But I don't want to spend much on ordering one just to have it not be the issue. I would like to diagnose first, then if needed, order one.

Re: DSLR canon sl2 flash error 50

I would think that is the issue, since it had white spot from the water, but it was very little localized spotting. I cleaned it up and there seems to be no damage to any traces or components, but...

Re: Samsung NP365E5C random power off

There are a bunch of 330uf capacitors in that circuit. If they were bad, wouldn't I see voltage spikes with an oscilloscope? I see a perfectly flat line in CPU core voltage. Could they still be to...
