Have ripped off PLCC32 and replaced it with a socket whle I await another programmed chip to arrive

Er...does anyone forsee any problems with this?

here i have ground off a PLCC32 chip with a Dremel.About five minutes careful but no sweat work

I have here an AOpen s661fxm 7s that will not boot past the device manager display and stops at ACPI Controller
This is before Floppy and CDROM so i've no chance to reflash it as far as i can see...

Oh dear more drama on removing 8 pin SOP
Desoldering I was a little bumfisted and pulled 2 solder pads off

They are pad six and seven. Can see the trace to six but none for seven

How about spinning CPU fan, both h/sink on CPU and northbridge getting warm, beeps for no RAM but still no boot ?
