Mainboard and powerboard are usually 2 separate boards, can you go ahead and post good straight on pics. of all the boards and one of the whole back as to see how they are all connected?

Yes, set meter to 200 ohms or so, tv unplugged/not powered, probe on each end, see if you get very low ohms reading, probably expect to see over 100 ohms on most.

I think it's a bad tab bond, try tapping on the bezel, NOT the screen where the line is, see if the line goes away or changes any.

I would check the solder joints closely, maybe use a magnifying glass. Yes other components can effect a proper diode reading so if any doubt at all, check out of circuit, I just clip a leg above...

Uh oh, guess that means you can't trust none of the new technology, the OLED's and NanoCell's definitely are problematic and the QLED's are energy hogs.
