it could have been bad leads or dirty sockets,
but the case obviously got exposed to oil.
i would have offered him 25 and told him to look at the cost of a shell!

gerbers arent the issue,
i could cad that up in an hour or so.
the issue is Kripton changed the circuit because it couldnt provide enough stable current.
and a full circuit with changes wasnt...

6.3v is enough,
any larger and your wasting money.
the 1.6 only has space for 3 cpu caps, so using 2200uf is good.
the 2 caps closer to the corner are not cpu related, they are smoothing the...

if it has microswitches with diodes to stop it smashing out of range, check them.
it's handy that you know about sattelite dish jacks - because many of these things are similar
then check any...

laptops dont make money.
i just keep them for personal use - different lap for each job.
1 for radio programming,
1 for software hacking (IDA-Pro) ertc.
and so on.
maybe gfx cards and games...
