Well, tonight the remote works, but after an hour of playing Wii with my kid. It went buzz really loud almost like snowy picture, and the screen went scrambled and lots of green tones. Turned tv off...

well, It seems I did NOT fix the problem. I used the TV with the cover off and no problems. I then came back from vacation and soldered the 8 smaller caps in. TV turned on fine all good. TV shut off...

can always use MFG part number from digikey and buy from Mouser, or buy them here. I bought some of mine from badcaps.net . I should get them in the mail today :)

sorry guys, I was looking at the wrong cap. and its not CapXcon.
Simple mistake by me. It is a brown colored heatshrink on it. I will get better info when I get home in a few hours.

I chose a general purpose category and it left me with one choice.

I assume a Gen purpose cap will be fine for a TV power supply board.
