Re: Iphone 6 Dead - Diagnosis

iPhone 6s failing, is common in our household, IMX!

My mother's iPhone 6, lasted the longest before any notable problems. Seemed to be the only one left, LOL.

Re: Acer Predator Helios 300 blue screen when plugged in.

That's a BSOD!
Looks like a CPU-reported hardware error. May be a faulty CPU or bad caps for the CPU or PSU.

Re: Old 286 motherboard cries for help

I suspect a bad solder joint, like a used Radeon 9800 Pro I had in 2007.
(That card seemed to be fine at first, but then turned around, and when just in a utility program, the screen was corrupted!...

Re: best cheap/free scores 1.1

Why? Is the reliability shit? Is it bad or just farking slow=Typical of a 5K and lesser-RPM laptop HDDs.

I have a verdict for the time being, if SFC, with the /scannow parameter comes back with...

Re: Do I want Ripple Current high or low?

3300uF @ 10 V=Are you recapping an Asus socket 462 motherboard? (CPU runs off of +5V rail on Asus socket 462 motherboards) Or an early-one? (From the T-bird era)

Re: WD drive "colors"

Looks a lot like I have a PNY CS900 500 GB SSD that has silent corruption. SFC kept coming back with the corruption report, with the Windows 10 1909 that's on it. Even when Windows Update didn't...

Re: WD drive "colors"

I remember when Blues were probably always 7K and seemed not much different than the Blacks! The Blues, used to be the "poor man's Black".

Re: best cheap/free scores 1.1

A "fake"=Reportedly claiming the card is a newer gen, while putting an older-gen GPU instead.

And, with my last post, I was wondering if "Navi" owners can reply here.

Albeit, I have an MSI...

Re: best cheap/free scores 1.1

Is that error code commonly happening to "Navi" users?

IIRC, people are reporting crashes being common with "Navi" Radeons.
(RX5000 series)

I'm wondering if it's the same bugcheck code,...

Re: best cheap/free scores 1.1
